welcome to the

BabyText Program

Pregnant Belly

A research study that uses text messaging to teach skills to manage changes in  how you feel before and after pregnancy.

Answering questions online or by telephone, two video chat meetings and receiving text messages every 2 days for 3-6 months.

Participation is voluntary.

Pregnant women and new mothers who are 18 years or older and who live in the U.S. may be eligible to participate.

Treatment, individualized care, and crisis support are not offered in this study. Text messages are automated and similar to using a self-help book. If you are experiencing a crisis or need immediate care, please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest hospital.

The baby blues happen 3-7 days after giving birth and last less than 2 weeks. If you're not sleeping or eating well or having problems with your mood or thoughts, seek help from others.

Creating a healthy reality for you and your baby is affected by your activities, your thoughts, and your contact with others.

What kinds of things can you do today that will prepare your baby for the future?
